As well as the display of buses, commercial vehicles and cars were also present at the open day.
Most of these were privately owned and had been either well looked after or restored.

GVVT Open Day
Old buses don't die and go to heaven, but some get rescued and restored by groups such as the Glasgow Vintage vehicle Trust.
At their Open Day the Bridgeton bus depot was filled with many models from different eras, on display for the public to come along and enjoy.
Many of the liveries are long gone now but hopefully not forgotten.

Glasgow vintage bus day
Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust ran a free bus service from George Square to Queens Park today as part of the Southside Open Day.
